Disability grants can come from many places for persons with disabilities. If you require financial assistance in order to afford any type of mobility equipment or handicapped-accommodating vehicle the following disability grants and resource based groups are your starting points. Contact a mobility consultant and find those most relevant to your situation. Many allow you to apply for monetary aid directly from them; others direct you toward sources of disability grants. Some of the resources may not be for obtaining grants but can provide other useful information and services to those who are challenged with mobility issues.
